Issue #1 of Amnesiacs, The Chronicles of Casey Jones is a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle fan comic from the perspective of Casey Jones. The 28-page story begins where the 1990 film left off but pulls in many elements from the original Eastman and Laird Mirage Studio comic book series. An original story based on the concepts and characters created by Eastman and Laird.
 
The story begins with the turtles, Casey Jones and April who believe the Shredder is now dead and the foot clan has been dismantled. When they return to the lair they are met with a huge explosion that sends the turtles and Splinter into hiding, while Casey and April find themselves in a psych ward with temporary memory loss including the memory of ever knowing each other. As the story unfolds and with a little help from Keno (pizza delivery dude turned medical aide), the two gradually begin regaining their memories and have to rely on Keno to help them escape the ward. 
 
This TMNT series is not only one for the fans, but a love letter to both Eastman and Laird and their bodacious creation.
